Emma Brady
Lactation Consultant

South West London

About me

My name is Emma, since 2008 I have been working as a neonatal nurse caring for premature and sick infants. In 2020 I took on the role of supporting infant feeding. I am currently working in a busy london neonatal unit as the Infant feeding lead. I have supported many families with their feeding journey's whether that is exclusively breast feeding or combination feeding with breast and bottles or exclusively expressing.

My passion for supporting families with their feeding journey’s grew when I become a mother to my two children who are now 6 and 4 years old.

Being a lactation consultant (LC) and neonatal nurse enables me to take a holistic approach to infant feeding, considering both the needs of the baby and the goals and concerns of the parents.

I couldn’t be more grateful for Emma’s support during our breastfeeding journey. When my baby was 4 days old, I was in so much pain I wasn’t sure I could continue. Hospital advice wasn’t helping and I felt unheard, so I reached out to a lactation consultant. We were lucky to find Emma, who visited us the same day, listened carefully, and helped us adjust the position. Since then, we’ve been exclusively breastfeeding without pain—thanks to her incredible support.
